- Pronghorn Crossing Blitz Build
- Hank Wisdorf
Pronghorn Crossing is the latest affordable housing development by Habitat for Humanity of Laramie County, located in a growing neighborhood in Cheyenne. This project will see the construction of 12 new homes for families in need. It will be our largest development to date, with all 12 homes set to be built in just one year!
In June, we welcome the Blitz Home Builders Team, a dedicated group of retired volunteers who travel the country helping Habitat affiliates launch or complete major build efforts. Together, we will build 2–4 homes from the ground up in just 10 days. This is a rare and inspiring opportunity to be part of something big, fast‑paced, and deeply rewarding. Your participation directly supports Habitat’s mission to build homes, community, and hope for families in Cheyenne.

In Support of Habitat for Humanity of Laramie County
Habitat builds and finances affordable homes by providing a 0% mortgage for families and individuals who would otherwise be priced out of homeownership. By removing interest and keeping monthly payments manageable, we ensure that hardworking households can build stability without being burdened by escalating housing costs.
Beyond the home itself, this model creates long-term impact. Families partner with Habitat by contributing sweat equity and participating in financial education, building the skills and confidence needed for successful homeownership. Each home becomes a foundation for stronger families, improved health and educational outcomes, and a more stable, connected community.
